Anyone on sportlines with 18x9.5 +38?
What size tire are you running?
Im undecided on these wheels. They are the same as mibe except 9.5

I actually drive my car. So its not just an appearance thing. I just like wider tires tho lol

im just shooting for the tires to be past the rim itself
and am i wrong by thinking if i have to roll fenders, im to the point of losing drivability?
if i just did highway pulls it would be 1 thing, but i enjoy the twistys

9.5” is 241mm. If you are going for 245mm tire wide, it will stick 4mm past the rim (excludes the thickness of rim lip). This is almost square setup. To stick past the rim for a meaty look, probably you might look at 255 or 265 depending how meaty you want.

ran 265/35 on 18x9.5 +38 on sportline springs. No fender work, just natural camber from the springs, and removal of the guide pin on the strut tower in the front. Ran this on a coupe, and my friend runs it now on his sedan Si.

I get rub on the big upstep type bumps on the highway with the 18x8.5 +38 amd 255/35s
So im assuming the 9.5 will just be worse?

Different kind of rub, that means it’s hitting the fender liner up top. Won’t damage anything but if you worried about that run low profile tires or go down to 17s. Most folks care about whether it will hit/damage the fender itself.
