Does anyone know what was the last day for 2017 Civic production?

My 2017 Si coupe was made on 8/30/2017.
I'm curious how near the end of 2017 production that was.

I found an article that states the 2018 models would be showing up at the dealers on October 3rd 2017.
My guess is the last of the 2017's were made first or second week of September 2017.

Anyone know when the Alliston plant stopped production of the 2017 coupes ?

Okay where did you find the exact date of your production? I have one of the first 2018 hatch exs and cannot find where the date of production is.

It's on the MSO you got from the dealer.
The date is on the top left of the document also it has the shipping weight at 2,830 pounds.

I always make a copy of this document because it gets turned in at the state license agency.

What's the document look like? I have every document they have saved, but I don't think I got an MSO, or are you saying it gets sent in and if I don't ask for a copy I don't have it.

The Manufactures Statement of Origin (Honda calls it Manufactures Certificate of Origin the original title for a vehicle). You would have turned that in to your state licensing agency when the vehicle was titled.

How did you license your vehicle without it?
This is the title to your vehicle the official birth certificate from the manufacturer.

Each state is different. Here in NE, I didn't have that form. Just the purchase agreement and that was enough for them.

Texas buyers never see the MCO/MSO. We buy a car then the plates arrive at the dealer 2-3 weeks later. The title arrives in another 2-3 weeks. Everything is handled by the dealer.

I saw my first-ever MCO (out of more than two dozen vehicles) when I bought my 2017 Civic Si out-of-state and they gave me all the paperwork to bring to my local tax office.

Wow that's interesting it does contain some interesting info.
I always make a copy of it because you have to turn the document over to the licensing agency in MO.

How about the date on the sticker inside the driver's door? It states the date of manufacture. For my 2017 4Dr Touring it shows date of mfg of 03/17

I saw that too but was looking for the exact date which is on the MSO.
FCA shows Hour Month and Day, Ford shows the actual date.
Honda thinks this is classified information.

I was just trying to find how close to the end of production my Si was built
because sometimes manufacturers will put subtle changes for the next model year into the end of year runs.

For instance my 2016 RAM was a late build and included the provision for a cabin air filter that was new to the model year 2017 RAM.

Yep, I'm assuming the dealership handled everything which is why I didn't see it.

That's just the month and year, but I'm trying to find the day unfortunately.

If you call American Honda 800-999-1009 and select the vehicle inquiry option.
Give them your VIN and they will tell you when the exact build date was.

They can't tell you when the model year 2017 ended or when 2018 started though....go figure.
My guess is September 1st 2017 was when model year 2018 started based on when people got their 2018's.
