From what I read, 0 w16 is not rated for our engine unless they changed that for the 11th gen civics.

0W-20 is OEM spec and we bump up to 5W-30 once we go big turbo and start making more power.

I saw a youtube vid from Scott Kiemer saying that 0w16 fixes the oil dilution problem.

Does he specify the brand of oil or just put's it out there using 0W-16 to fix the issue? Assuming it was true, I wouldn't go all in because the strength of the oil under high shear at higher temperatures for 0W-16 may not be adequate for the engine. OP is free to experiment with running 0W-16 for 100,000 miles with the risk of accelerated wear in the engine.

His garage looks like the city dump I wouldn't listen to a word he says.

You can fix the oil dilution issue by starting the car and driving it, it's because people let it idle for 15 minutes then drive for 5 minutes. I have 16k miles and not a single issue with oil dilution.

Since our car is turbocharged, i would not go to a lighter weight oil. Toyota only use 0W16 on their NA non-turbo'ed cars.

Yeah, do NOT listen to a word that clown says. You really think going from a 20 to a 16 is going to stop fuel from mixing with the oil? That's a comical thing to say.
