Technically i paid tax “twice” but not double. I paid taxes in cali when purchased.. then when i registered in nevada i had to pay that tax difference at dmv because the tax rate in my county is higher then the county in cali i got it from. If i paid it all in nevada it would of been same exact cost. The finance person in cali wasnt familiar with out of state buyer. But all in all did not pay double and shouldnt have to. They did register car in cali , i had to call and resolve it. Finance lady didnt know what she was doing.. as my first out of state purchase i didnt either hah
