Yeah I had the front bumper, the side rockers (not the carbon), and had them do tint for me. I think they do $250 for the front bumper if I remember right.
I then did the lower portion of the hood, side mirrors, front fender, and door handle cups myself (since those are all pretty flat and easy to do

Now, who has brought their CTR into local dealer for services? Which dealer? How was the service? Do they have TypeR specialed technician?

Anyways, I went to Walser for mounting a spare tire for my CTR. While I was there, I asked the service advisor whether they have any CTR specialist in their shop, he frankly told me that they don't! And they rarely see any CTR in for servicing.

Lol i got my car for less than a week! As far as i know, there is another CW CTR in Savage area.

But yes, I have seen a ctr twice or so, and they might even be the same one too.

To my surprise, there is a bigger Evo local community here in TC than a CTR which is basically nonexisting right now

I'm not sure any of the dealers here will have a "Type R Tech" - there isn't enough volume and the car itself doesn't require anything dramatically different enough to justify I don't think.

Well, i found one metal clip that holds the retainer to keep the rear bottom panel on was missing. And i thought the clip is just a very common part and walked into Inver Grove and Walser parts dept asking for a replacement, and nobody knew what it was. Then i talked to one technician in Walser and he said he didnt know either, and then i had to take him to a CTR to show him. After he looked at it he said he never saw that clip on other honda cars b4 but he did help me to order one.

So, just a body clip at $2.94, and the staffs in both dealers were already looking at me in blank

Nothing major right now, sporlines, whiteline rear sway bar, stoptech pads and rotors, ktuner 1.2, pro stage 1 intake, rpf1's. I fo all my own installs but for tuning for me rs motors is the only place I'll go, I've known Ron for years and he is really good at what he does.

Not that I know of, he can do them with the proper software, but I don't think any of the r's in the state are really going the route of custom tunes.

not for tuning, i might want to find a shop to do my catless dp n rear motor mount. i always brought my IX in to Ron, he is a cool guy and knows his stuffs. but i don't know how much they work on the FK8 thou

I did my rear mount, pretty simple install, downpipe looked pretty easy as well. They can do it no problem.. but he is closing shop to the public in roughly 6 months so he can have more family time and enjoy building cars again.
