I've recently noticed if I have the AC off I'll notice a bit of heat just coming from underneath by the pedals and behind the glove compartment. I would assume it's the heat from the engine. I have no heater on or A/C so it isn't that and I don't assume it's normal since all cars I've driven never had that issue. Was curious if anyone else has that problem and if so is it fixable or something I must deal with.

What temperature do you have it set though? Did you press auto climate control? I've had this happen before too when I had the interior to be 19 degrees but turned off the ac so it was just warming my car at that point.

Ive had cars in the past that do the same thing. GM cars were really bad for it, don't know if they fixed it. My old Malibu was, as well as my friend's 07 Pontiac Grand Prix.

As for my Civic, I sometimes feel a slight bit of heat near the foot pedals. I did on my Accord as well. Just figured its normal.
