When in doubt use a clay bar.

OP, you're not giving us much to go on.

Sorry about that. There is a weird spot on the hood towards the front. It is in like an oval shape. It's kind of hard to see.

I tried using quick detail. I also washed it recently as well before I noticed it. Anything else I should try?

The metal seemed ok to me, but definitely looks discolored. I don't know if this will come out or if I should just repaint the hood.

I'm not even sure what is occurring in that spot.

That’s so weird. Only things that come in minds is you can try to clay lt. After try to spray some iron remover on it and then maybe try to polish it. If this doesn’t work.. maybe try to get it repair for free by Honda because it doesn’t seems normal

Thanks, i'm going to try to give that a try. I tried talking to Honda already and they told me the warranty wouldn't cover that. Still trying to push them on it because the car is exactly a year old now.

I would definitely argue that with them since it really looks like a paint defect on the hood itself. If it were a chemical or something spilled on it that you did it would have continued onto the rubber gasket and paint on the plastic front bumper too but it looks like it stops at the hood edge.

Its moisture under the clear coat. Only way to get it out is to use a heat gun and SLOWLY and LIGHTLY try and dry it out. I AM NOT RESPONISBLE FOR ADVISING YOU OF THIS AS IT TAKES A VERY PATIENT HAND AND SOME TIME. Recommend taking it to a body shop or a detail shop to have done other wise you will burn that paint instantly. Good Luck !!

I'm going to try to take it by a detail shop today. Hopefully they can fix it. Thank you for the advice.
