They put me in SMF class because all the upgrades I have and I’m pretty sure other people that autox have the same things I do but I don’t see any other civic in this class.

Sounds like DSP (D street prepared) to me. SMF is more like aftermarket turbo territory.

There is no straight answer for that one, it depends on the track surface, weather, etc. You are working with good tires though. Get a good tire gauge and experiment a bit.

Curious if you ever found out what class you should have been in or if SMF was correct?

Im trying to figure out what class i'd be competing in with my current and future mods list. I wouldnt want to purchase and install a part that would move me into a class i'd be really outclassed in. SPC front negative balls joints, ktuned rear camber kit and Whiteline RSB are going to be installed soon so everything is pointing to STH and the rulebook even mentions 17' - 18' Si's for that class. It doesnt seem to mention tunes being prohibited either so im generally confused in your case (maybe the dp fp are what did it? but what do i know). I understand its some what dependent from event to event... which doesnt help either lol Im not planning on any HP mods in the near future and purely handling which seem to be legal in STH... or so i think:hmm:
