SiriMoto does sell some individual components you can use to make your own: https://www.procivic.com/p/m/civic/sirimoto-universal-oil-cooler.html and https://www.procivic.com/p/m/civic/sirimoto-oil-filter-take-off-and-pedestal.html

OR, you can simply purchase the full kit: https://www.procivic.com/p/m/civic/sirimoto-engine-oil-cooler-kit.html

Luckily, there is no Type R "tax" on the Siri stuff. Basically the same price for the FK8 and 1.5T models. The FK8 is a bit more due to slightly different hardware.

Does the fact that it partially covers the intercooler effect the efficiency of the intercooler?

It actually doesn't cover any of the intercooler...just a small part of the radiator. Even then, it does let some air through to that section. We didn't notice any effect on coolant temps, probably because the car has more than adequate coolant cooling capability, whereas the oil cooling capability from the factory is not enough.
