I used to live in selden do you guys go to deer park avenue I used to in the late eighties and early nineties
The good old days when I had my EM1 Civic Si and AP1 S2000. It was mostly people hanging out in parking lots, cruising, doing u-turns and looping around, back and forth, with the occasional race.

I've bought a ton of accessories for this car, some installed, the rest I'm waiting until the weather gets warmer. Damn Honda for making these available lol. If any of you guys are going to install any of the illumination kits, we should do a meetup and install them together.

We can definitely do this (once the weather breaks lol) I'm going to do my remote start soon, I'm dreading the thought of getting to the clutch wires tho (pains in the ass to get to). This car takes ridiculously way too long to warm up. Specially for something something thats been reported to have over heating issues ??‍♂

Saw a red type R (prefacelift) on our way back(westbound) from deer park on the southern state. Dual tip exhaust with out of state plates(pretty sure it was maryland). Drove with us for a couple exits around midnight.

I'm not really interested in the remote start, but I'm looking into installing the Viper system (security only with added sensors and the smartphone notifications).

Paint correction will fix all that. They did paint correction on mine before the ceramic coat.
Nassau County here, Levittown. Down for a meet whenever! id prefer the warmer weather though.
Welcome to the long island chapter lol

Post a pic of your ride @TypeRNY

Hardwired mine this past week. Was mildly annoying.....I managed to do it without pulling out the bottom panel and only popping the A pillar out a bit on top. Put the wires through with a snake.

Zip tied the wires inside the A pillar to that other wiring harness so they don't move around and make noise or fall in front of the curtain air bag.

Just budget a little more time than expected. I thought it would be a 10 minute job like on my GTI.....took about 45 minutes, alot of that being my laziness to remove panels, snaking wires through, and fastening things down nicely.

Still debating on whether or not to use the "HONDA" badge from my S2000 on the tailgate. Installed the trim pieces under the hood today, along with the European side markers. Btw, I hate blanks hehe... might make those buttons useful later on down the road.

U got parking sensors? Lol or just sticker and the headlight nozzle. Yeah I'm not a fan of blanks either I had stupid little stickers on my sport touring by the shifter (Mario kart banana lol)

I had those engine bay covers on my last 10th gen wouldn't fit the R so I left them behind. Will reorder eventually.
