My clutch is slipping consistently in gears 3+, slips in 2nd on map 3 if i'm doing a pull (phearable 1.5). Map 1 i even slip in late 3rd early 4th.
I'm ordering a new clutch in the next week, and i'm asking for any words of advice; bad experiences, things to note, things like that.
since the covid curse along with honda's boneheaded decision on the weak si clutches have caused a rise in clutch purchases, ACT HD Street is not an option for me as my clutch will be gone by the time it (supposedly) ships. i drive 90 miles a day for work: i need my car.
I have settled for Competition Stage 2 22lb clutch kit. Humza over at @Unity Performance has been a huge help, and although i wish i could get the ACT kit, i simply can't risk the wait.
Speak now or forever hold your peace. I don't want to regret this 6 months from now when some issue comes up that could have ben avoided. Thanks in advance!
