I've been using it for a few weeks. SO far so good. I'm also under the impression if you have any issues in the engine the JB4 will shut off. (I could be wrong on this)

That's what i read that if it seems something is out of "parameter" or that seems safe it just cuts out and lets the ecu take back over. How does the engine bay look with the extra wires? Any pictures?

@IHadToRun Here are the pictures. The picture with the arrows are where the plugs to the JB 4 connect to. As you can see the OBD cable runs through the fender and sits next to the ECU.

3000 miles so far all good, map 2 on 93 oct shell nitro.
FYI I don't abuse my car. I drive aggressively but don't bounce off the rev limiter or other stupid crap.

2 months or so driving in hot weather in Texas with 93 octane on map 2. No problems and really enjoying the power. Agree that it’s extremely easy to install and unless you are actively looking for it it’s not noticeable under the hood or inside.

Still. It’s so easy to uninstall I’d always take it off before bringing it to the dealer.

Did you place yours where I placed mine?

Totally agree it’s so easy I wouldn’t take any risk by leaving it on although I doubt any questions would be asked at a dealership unless you were going in for warranty work.
Yes I think I did mine the exact same way.
Had one on a golf R previously and it was a much bigger pain you had to lift the car and get underneath to access one of the plugs.

That sounds horrible. I’m happy with how easy it is here I mean... for how easy it was. I was like no way it’s actually providing this much power. But I lm pretty sure it is. I’m gonna get a Rear Motor Mount soon and then Dyno it.
