@UberCivic do you see better numbers with non-ethanol vs 91/93?

I saw noticeable improvement between 87 and 93. I too drive 1000 miles a week. What tires are you using?

Wish I had more opportunities to hyper mile like y'all but unfortunately my hectic city driving commute doesn't allow it

however I tried it out one time on the way to the beach and managed to snag 42 mpg with cruise control and light throttle while being almost FBO and tuned which was nice

what other car can you have almost 300 torque, be full bolt on, and get 40+ mpg?? i love it

Watch your instant mpg when you pass a semi. Rockets up there when you get in the sweet spot next to it. It's like drafting in NASCAR lol
ive seen too much crap fall off flatbeds and too many blowouts to camp next to a semi for any length of time.its not worth extra 10 mpg to me.

back in the day.. my golf TDi. I would campat the tail. No ACC to you really had to pay attention. It would be nice if ACC had a draft setting!

If you don't mind, would you explain your driving in achieving that high of mileage? We're planning a trip and I'd love to get that gas mileage.
From what I can see in my car. Nobody else in the car. No luggage . 80 degrees. No headwind. Drive 50-55 mph.

Hahaha nice, that's only 3.1 l/100 km that's better than some people can do with their hybrid cars like Insight or Prius.

Yes no big effort on certain trips, but I find it's pretty hard work trying to get 43-44 mpg over a longer period of time and to drive more than 500 miles with one fuel tank.

Just got 37 mpg on a 130 mile trip that was almost all highway in my stock Si coupe with HFP 19". I don't think I could do much better than that.

I did 41.9 MPG on my way back from virginia beach - not even really trying to hypermile. Cobra Race CAI and Rev9 intercooler on TSP Stage 1 (and i stayed in MAP 3 the whole time lol). Eco when open road, and normal when in town. If it were from PA to VA probably could get closer to 50 because it's more downhill.

To clarify, when I say my Si couldn't do better, I mean cause I don't want to drive any slower. Very happy with 37 mpg at 75-80 mph the whole way.
