Okay, I just finished swapping badges. Here's a quick rundown of what I did.

First, I used a steamer used for pressing suits (I know what you're thinking but it worked great). I used the steamer to loosen the adhesive and get some steam in there.

After about 20 minutes, I used two old credit cards to pry the badge off. It popped off pretty easily and the pins didn't brake off. I had a buddy to help me. This project could be done with one person but it's definitely easier with two people.

I then used the steamer to loosen the remaining adhesive and peel it off. After I took off all I could, I used a paper towel and rubbing alcohol to get as much off as possible. I couldn't get all of it off but it was good enough.

Once it was dry, I stuck the new one on and that's it. All the pics are for reference.

Kinda glad I found this thread.. well not really. My font H badge has a crack on its edge as well and I have my replacement sitting in my apartment.. I had planned to replace it in the morning when it will be 35ish degrees outside. LOL. I have a heat gun and a hair dryer but no way to get those to my apartment parking lot. I will be scraping and scraping and scraping this adhesive off in the morning.

I took to the task today while it was 50 degrees out.. I had a flat screwdriver and a panel removal tool. I thought it was super easy till I realized that I had just removed the Red color and the H from the black plastic it was glued to .. LOL.. Then I had to remove the black plastic which was easy. The glue wasnt but it came off pretty easy I guess with the screw driver used as a scraper.

All in all it took me 45 minutes.
