Thanks for your post. Sorry it took me so long to respond. I think i thought i did but must have not hit reply.. Anyway - If you don't mind me asking (and you do not have to answer) what meds helped you? My therapist has mentioned that meds might help - but i would need to talk with a Psych. In the past i have tried a lot of different stuff and honestly the side effects were worse then the anxiety/depression. Currently i have been taking CBD oil and 5-htp. Not sure if they help. I am currently taking a break from the 5-htp. i will say the CBD oil does seem to curb my appetite. Not that i am overweight, but i was still eating like i was going to the gym. The gym also helps me too. Just gotta make time and it is really difficult to not want to hibernate when winter hits. I have been working through the Phobia and Anxiety workbook and also The Happiness Trap.I've struggled with Anxiety for many many years. Counseling and medication helped but once I made an effort to not let things bother me as much is when I started feeling ok. Prayers for you and I hope you find health and peace.
I have a therapy session today with a different therapist (mine is out on medical leave). I have done a bunch of research on hypnosis therapy and i am wondering if it might help me. One of my other panic inducing issues is getting motion sickness. I dont really get it as a driver, but i get it as a passenger. I read a blog where someone got rid of their motion sickness via hypnosis. I would LOVE for that to work. To ride in a car, to go on amusement rides. Although it also seems to really matter on the car. For instance i normally did not get as sick in my BFs Golf R, or the CTR. I think because i felt more secure in those cars. His little fiesta -ugggg. Actually i dont think i have gotten sick in the miata either. Hrmmm It just leads me to believe it comes down to security and its all mental.
I sit out of life too much.
Thanks again for your comment
