Anti-theft alarm system

Have any of you installed one ?
Is it effective ?
I don't know anything about it but some people tell me that it discourages thieves because it is harder and slower to neutalize
than the original system and it is noisy.

Are you talking about the alarm system built into the car or do you want to install other alarm systems? I installed a hidden alarm GPS in my car, and it was almost impossible for a thief to get it. In the past year, it successfully helped me recover my car in three thefts. It is recommended to use a GPS tracker.
