Met up with fellow forum member @Banshee at the auto cross today. He and his wife had brought their new "Porsche Support Vehicle " #1148.

First one I've seen in real life, and it was just as spectacular as I thought.

Thanks to Banshee for letting me ogle his new toy. The seats were much more comfortable than I expected. I was leaning Si, but now I'm in love all over again. :D

Congrats Banshee on the new ride!

No problem! Wish it could have worked out for you to get a ride in the GT3. Maybe next event if you can get away from work.

I'd like that. I keep volunteering for set up.

23 JUL is our next scheduled event. If you plan to bring a Type R, make sure it is wrapped, there is a lot of gravel there. I run Hoosier A7's, and when I get back to grid, I have more gravel than tire touching the ground.
A new owner took over NTR, and they paved the staging lanes, but the parking lot is still the old asphalt, and it is coming up in places. They have to design the course around the bad spots.
