Currently at the dealership. Came in to have my window, axle, and slave cylinder looked at and as it was written up, I was informed the car was also going to have the recall done. We'll see how it goes.

There will come a day when turbocharging will be out of fashion and the reliable, everyday car will return to take it's place on the pedestal it once dominated. Why? Because turbocharging was meant for improving the performance on sports cars and specialty cars that aren't sold as being "reliable" under certain circumstances. Turbocharging was never intended for mainstream car fuel savings and efficiency. It's just a stop-gap between highly reliable port injected 2.0 and bigger 4 cyls of yesterday and tomorrows electric , non fun, people movers. In the meanwhile, burn premium fuel, let the turbo systems warm up properly, drive longer distances as preventive, and enjoy the ride!

There are plenty of "regular"/mainstream cars with turbo chargers. There's also not some epidemic of unreliability with Civics. Honda sold a huge amount of turbo civics and there aren't highways littered with dead Civics lol... also, they don't all take premium.

Also, since I never updated, my car feels the same. The only noticeable difference is how fast my RPMs drop on a cold start. I could be missing something but that's all I've noticed.

Blame the EPA and other emissions regulators.

Wrong. That day will never come... Why? Because the day when the roads are filled with electric cars that run 10's in the quarter mile and drive themselves will come first. Manual? Whats that? Gas pedal? You mean accelerator pedal.

Enjoy it while it lasts bois.

You must have posted in the wrong thread...?

The TSB is about direct injection, not turbocharging.
