Okay boys, so things were good for the first week, now I am having the same problem. I swapped USB cables again for good measure, and still getting random No Device Detected messages on the this brand new head unit. So I dont know what to do. Are we out of luck?
Man,I'm not sure what could be your issue. I've had no problems still since it went away after two days. This car has so many issues with the head unit and compatibility with certain phones it seems. :(

Man,I'm not sure what could be your issue. I've had no problems still since it went away after two days. This car has so many issues with the head unit and compatibility with certain phones it seems. :(
It fixed the red screen error at least. But yeah maybe its the Note 8. I am probably gonna get an S9+ later and see if that helps. If not, maybe a Pixel 2 or something, havent decided yet
