THE AMP POWER cable IS NOT BEING CONNECTED THROUGH ANY OF THE VEHICLE'S FUSES! I had to say that first because I already know I'm going to get people saying never connect an amp through a fuse block... (I'm NOT).
Typically, the amp (+) power cable is connected to the (+) battery terminal:
What I plan to do is connect my amp's (+) power cable to the feed for the under-hood fuse block. This is tapping the feed PRIOR TO ANY FUSES. All that is being done is connecting the amp (+) power cable to the other end of the fuse block feed cable.
