If I recall correctly, the hatchbacks have two more pairs of wires in that connector for their little speakers in the C pillar, for a total of six pairs of rear outputs.

yes..but do u have a pic of the type r 8pin connector and the 18pin type-r connector I want to know what color wires go to what speaker any help would be appreciated thanks

Well, one thing to know is that the Type-R connectors are the same as other Civic hatchback models. So you don't need to look for anything specific to the Type-R, you just need to find the pin diagram for the hatchback. I've seen it posted here, but unfortunately I didn't save it since I didn't need it.

If you didn't find it, you can pay $10 for a 1-day pass to access Honda's online service manual for the car and get it from that.

This is directly from the manual which displays the pin outs one after another without really saying which is for which. You guys are smart though so I'm sure you'll figure it out

I did a military splice, taped and then placed zip ties on the tape to ensure it doesn't free up at all.

I may have asked this before and I'm sorry for the repetitive ness. This will allow me to splice in and connect a powered sub into the stock Touring/R sound system correct?

Yeah, that's how I have mine setup as well. The directions page on the site are actually photos from a CtR.

Unfortunately no plans to ship internationally. I haven't been able to find anything cheaper than $15 for shipping : (
