Glad you’re physically all right! Mentally, though... ?
I was pissed. I was slamming on my horn. I need to just go ahead and install a louder horn lol

People really do suck, glad to see that you are alright though. This YouTube channel I’m subscribed to has a whole video series on these wannabe cops in Florida driving recklessly and getting arrested as a result. You mentioned a white charger and I thought I saw these guys driving a similar one so I wonder if there was any relation there.
Well I don't think he was actually trying to impersonate a cop haha, it's just an all white charger looks similar to the patrol cars in my town because they're all white with just the name on the sides.

The best you can do in a situation like that is to avoid the collision.
You done good.
Thanks! I've never come that close to an accident before haha

i am glad you are ok, staying alert and sharp while driving saved my ass many times, i almost never look at anything else than road ahead and mirror while driving, even when we drive with gf as passenger for an hour i dont look at her once ;) here in europe roads are narrow and twisty, many people drunk or distracted by phones so not much road to avoid scary situations, so while i drive i always think ahead and think what others will do, and that is exhausting... and in 21years on the road no accident yet. The main issue is not few km/h over speed limit, in my opinion main issue is people just are not focused while driving, cars are getting better and better and more isolated you are from surroundings more you feel safe and not driving on full focus, and some people just dont have the brain power or to old to operate car safely, and third class of drivers are suicidals...
Yeah, people swerve in and out of lanes all the time here where I live, even though the lanes aren't narrow. I mean I don't expect people to keep their car straight the whole time, but I don't understand how they can literally just drift off halfway into another lane

I'm glad to hear you were able to avoid the crash. I'm disappointed that you're not having a dashcam, to show us the video.... just kidding, good thing that you're alright.
Thanks haha I need to get one definitely.

A dash cam would've really come in handy. It would also make great evidence for the real 5-0.

My bad advice would be to learn jiu jitsu and confront him next time and help him with an involuntary nap. My good advice, get some ice cream and be happy you're alive and didn't crash your car. Maybe a car wash to show your appreciation to its handling and machine spirit.
Good idea haha. Yeah, I plan on getting a dash cam soon... When the stimulus check decides to actually hit my account

That's some crazy shit with the fake cop dude. I couldn't stop watching those vids.

@daniellee789 - hey, sorry this happened but glad you're okay and the car's not wrecked. Not matter how many safety features are on my ride, I still drive as if everyone's drunk... haha
Oh yeah I'm always extra careful. People just don't care

yeah I once had a random moron pull out in front of me when I was less then 200 feet away from him, he was stopped at a stop sign, I was doing 35 MPH, I had to slam on my brakes and swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid him by a matter of feet, fortunately the other lane was empty, this was in one of my old cars.
I've had something similar happen on the highway. There was traffic and everyone hit their brakes all of a sudden, so I had to swerve off to the side haha

Never had a good experience with anyone driving a Charger. Don't know why. Guess it's just a douche car.

Hope you stay safe.

Like we don't have enough to deal with on the roads. Wow. Glad you are okay.
Sadly, occasionally you get even a legitimate police officer who demonstrates less than good judgment. As we are all human.
Case in point:
Decades ago, I was making a right turn into my neighborhood in Garland, Texas. I was in a Ford Escort. I was perhaps going faster than necessary. It was at night. A parked car, no lights on, no indication there was anyone even in it, pulls out from the curb flashing lights and cuts off my turn. I stand up on the brakes, and just manage to not hit the car. It was an actual police car, not even a wannabe. These geniuses were so concerned I might 'get away' if they pulled out behind me - in a neighborhood -again, in a Ford Escort - that they almost caused an accident. Stupid does not begin to describe this. If I was their commander I would have had their ass for that stunt. The idea is to increase public safety, not be the cause of the accident. If they had let me complete the turn and just pulled out behind me, I would have pulled over. I was just speeding. Not fleeing a bank robbery. I respect police when they do a tough job well. I have no respect for them when they become the problem instead of the solution. And fake police - that just has to go.

Oh wow that's terrible. I don't actually think this guy was a fake cop though, it's just a little running joke we have in our town: Anyone with an all white charger is a wanna be cop, because they are identical to our police cars, minus the lettering on the sides and the lights and such haha. But cops in my town are so busy with crime, they rarely pull anyone over for speeding
