Maybe those reviewers were on LSD?

I'm 99.99999999999999% sure the GLI has a limited slip diff.
I saw the review a few months back, my memory unfortunately is not what it used to be. It wasn't a GLI they were reviewing but a Jetta. My bad. Anyway as a previous owner of a few VW's and a former enthusiast, I would buy the regular Civic over any VW model any day of the week or year

And of course everyone is saying how much they hate it, bad design, less powerful, this that and the other....

Just like a ton of people wrote on the sticky thread when the 10th gen was released. Funny how history repeats itself. Gee, I wonder what 11thgen owners will say about the 12thgen in five years?
That's disappointing. Lower power and it's heavier than before.
Honda has also removed the heated seats and dual zone climate control and heated mirrors from the 11th gen.SI also the wheels look identical to the striped down sport model,I own a 20' SI, very disappointed to see these options removed, and especially no additional power,220hp with the improved power band would have been nice,

I knew about the lack of heated seats and dual climate. Heated mirrors were removed too? Yikes. For cold weather people that's a necessity.

Just like how the Sport hatch got stripped of everything that made it a Sport.

That I'm with you guys on 100 percent. Heated mirrors and seats, dual climate were strictly cost saving measures. Even in California you need the heated mirrors for cold mornings where they are fogged up. That is definitely a reason to be upset

Thought Honda would give more differences to separate the Si trim from the others but unfortunately it looks like they didn't do much. The lack of heated seats is also no bueno, no idea why they decided to leave that out of the 11th gen.

It's not a bad looking car but I would never find myself interested in owning one tbh

The only thing I love about the new Si is the dual split exhaust. Literally that's it. Almost everything else that is an "upgrade" so to speak can be had on a 10th gen.

Me, I'd forego the Bose audio just to have those basic features. I guess they figure the Bose name is a big draw and people would overlook the fact the car is a bit less functional.

We should put up a poll...

"What do you prefer?"

1. Heated seats + heated mirrors + dual climate control +the standard sound system.

or

2. Bose audio only, no heated seats, no heated mirrors and no dual climate control.

I am really disappointed with the 2022 version of the SI.
Already that they have remove the coupe from the range,
it will lack power against the compétition.
On top of that, Honda will make a few dollars, on each car,
by removing accessories, it's a shame.
My modified 2017 Si coupe that has only 31000 km will be
my last car.
I have a lung cancer that is killing me. In fact, I should have
been dead by the end of September, according to my oncologist pronosis.
To all CicicX members, I wish you a long life.

Sorry to hear that. We had some very good discussions way back when I had my 2018. I believe strongly that this life we are in is transient and there is more to come. You made it this far so I wish you the best of luck

That's a Branch Resonator on the 27won. Honda is probably doing something similar with the 11th gen, it's probably curved like that for noise reduction. The shorter gearing means more engine noise at hwy speeds
By noise reduction do you mean droning? We allwant more noise!! ;P
