But it’s still a Japanese car which is more reliable. I know guys like the American pony cars ( mustang ,camaro, and challenger) on this forum but I’m sorry these cars are unreliable problematic and expensive funny I used to be a all American car guy until I owned a few Asian cars and realize the big three ( GM,FORD and Chrysler) just pushes their vehicle out the door and don’t worry about quality. I have no interest in a new America car anymore if I was to look at a mustang it would be a 84 to 86 SVO
btw the ISF is a cool car:)
Especially when you drift it LOL  You can thrash it all day and the only thing you will have to change is the tires and brakes!

Don't forget fuel economy. The R/T is impressive for what it is, and undoubtedly it would be a blast at stoplights...but it gets, what, 15-16mpg city? No offense to muscle car fans, but in this day and age I'd have trouble owning a vehicle which returns that kind of mileage. Weekend garage queen, ok, but as a daily driver? No thanks. Of course that's just my own personal take, so ymmv (in more ways than one, I suppose)
My G37 (pre Covid-19) costs $80CAD to fill up. That's almost twice my Civic. But my Civic gets twice the range lol

Are talking about the Chevy SS with the small block V8? Haha sleeper car for sure if I've ever seen one. I was thinking of buying a 2014 with a 6 speed manual but being a Toyota guy I was a bit afraid of reliability. They look so normal but damn they are not!

BTW it already has around 415 HP. How much more do you need?
the chevy ss is not a small block lol and for reliablity there pretty good

Your right, 6.2L is no small block LOL! I didn't realize it was the LS3, which is pretty reliable. I should use the Google machine more :p

My Challenger Hellcat manual trans and K swapped Fit. The SI is cool for what it is, it’s a fun car in my opinion.

My Fit however will dominate both the SI and Hellcat in a straight line or corner. Any car can for that matter depending on how deep your pockets are.

When you say K swapped, you mean like a K24? Sorry about my ignorance, I'm not as familiar with the Honda engines

Yesterday I was walking my dog (you can see her shadow) and I stopped to admire my neighbors fairly new M3 (about 5 years old). I noticed black oil all over the front of his driveway. He told me he has to put a quart in about every 3K or so. He has to use kitty litter to clean it up. How can it be acceptable that a 5 year old car he probably paid $80K for leaks oil all over your driveway? My 14 year old Camry SE with 150K plus miles on it still doesn't have a leak nor does it burn any oil between oil changes, and I drove that car pretty hard over the years when I drove it (as hard as a Camry can be driven!)

Anyway besides the oil leak (and probably coolant LOL) it has a the S55 Twin Turbo Inline 6, he said it dyno's near 415 bhp. BTW, I didn't want him to see me snapping the photo of the leaking oil, so I didn't get a pic of the whole car! It is a beauty. Oh yeah, he does have a red Challenger R/T as well parked on the other side of the driveway!
