Did you install a 4/5 point harness as well? or are you running the OEM seat belt through the harness holes in the bucket? Did you remove the driver's seat belt buckle?

Watching this thread, I've tried all sorts of resistors, but it never went away. Maybe get a honda express subscription and check the wiring resistance specs. Btw, if you are going to daily a 4/5/6 point harness look into getting Schroft ASM. Otherwise, you risk submarining or severe neck injury in the case the airbag fails.

a 2.2, 2.5, or 2.7 ohm resistor to the yellow plug will work

beginning to think i should make some harnesses to sell to members ??

Yeah, ive tried 2.7 and 2.5 and more. Ill try a 2.2 when I get the chance. Honestly the light doesnt bother me. I think evasive already sells a harness as well.

2.2 wont be any different for you. they are all within range, so 2.7 and 2.5 should have worked for you.

i have no experience with aftermarket seats, i speak from experience installing airbags on crashed cars here at the shop...assuming you guys are only getting the seat airbag code, this should work.

this goes connected into the yellow plug coming from the car's harness under the seat

I hate to revive this old thread, but does anyone have pictures of any kind to help me install my seats, without throwing airbag codes. I've read above ppl talking about the yellow harness plug, however i've never done anything electrical or anything this crazy it would be much help if anyone provided some insight. Also i may add is there anything i should know about regarding installing seats like will my side airbags or something not work bc they aren't oem seats?

Thanks,
Christian

Hey from experience I'd recommend getting a bypass for it. I went ahead and picked up the bride bypass from evasive motorsports.

Does anyone know if the type R seats fit in the si and what needs to be done to make it happen? Also do the seat airbags plug in and do the si seat mounts bolt up to the type R seats?

idk for sure, but i would assume so. I've seen sport owners putting si seats in their cars.
