is it just because of your wheel design that it sits that close?
Yeah it’s the wheel designs. The spacing will vary based on the wheel spokes designs. When I had the Enkies Ts10 and the Vordoven forme 15 (ce28 rep) it had a lot of spaces between the spokes and the caliper

No problems at all! I even have some hard dips with bridges on my daily commute. No issues. I almost want to switch to the Sportlines, but i think I'd need a fender roll for the rears.

Thank you! I'm super happy with the new setup :)
Ya looks great brotha. I'm waiting on my Niche Misano's 18x9.5 +40 to come. So tired of seeing the stock wheels lol

2019 civic si coupe 18x9.5 +35 on stock goodyear 235/40. will it fit on stock suspension with no modifications at all? How bad is the tire stretch? Is is bad enough to effect anything with how the car drives or ride quality? Will it be safe to daily drive?
I think that will be very risky without at least fixing the camber. It only takes one good hit to your rear quarter panel to cause a lot of damage.
Edit: check fitmentindustries.com for other cars with this setup and see what they had to do to the suspension. I personally haven't tried this/made the mistake.

tbh i doubt you would have any issues at stock height
edit: i have 18x9 +35 on stock height and stock tires on my coupe and have no issues with my car
