Those are the widest rims/fattest tires I've seen on any 10th Gen Civic!!! But I have to ask...what do you have going on with the front fenders!?? Almost looks like the Type R fender, but I know it's not.?

Hi everyone, is anyone running 18x9.5 +35 on 245/40/18 tires?

I've seen a few running this with a +38 or 40 offset. Wasn't sure if that slight difference would cause rubbing or not.

-My hatch is on the Pro Kit. TIA

You’ll be safe with either a 38 or 40 mm offset and use 35 profile tires.

I'm on Prokit with 18x9.5 +35 245/40 and I rub on dips and bridges even with tabs folded

Get more offset and/or less sidewall

If your is 2019 model and above, +35 may work as there is no fender tab. But on the safe side, as some mentioned, go with +38 or 40 offset or reduce the sidewalll or consider 235/40/18.

Wanted to add an update here in case people need the stats.

Previously had 235/40/18 with 0 rubbing. Experienced pretty bad rubbing in the rears (any small bump, all turns) after moving up to 245/40/18, so I ended up rolling the fenders. No issues now after rolling.

Current setup:
Volk TE037 18x9.5 +38mm
Pilot Sport 4S A/S 245/40/18
Function & Form Type II coilovers
Fenders rolled in the rear, no rubbing in the front

asking here in case anyone knows (and in case this a dumb question), if i see people in this thread running up to 18x9.5 widths with a bunch of different offsets then if i buy 18x9 +30 should i be ok or is that not how wheels work (im on stock suspension but potentially buying springs soon)? im trying to understand wheels but theres so much to know lol

these are something at what im looking at and it says it fits but honestly theres so many options

Those will work, however be advised that offset doesn't look anything like the pictured wheel. They use the 18x11", 8mm for the photo because it's the most aggressive best looking example. The 18x9, 30mm, has a small lip, and a flat spoke appearance. Still a decent looking wheel, but nothing like the one pictured.
Here is the 18x9", 30mm. They look strange when they are spinning.
