17x9, +20 will stick out +8mm than 18x9.5 +34. Hopefully 215/50 will not rub

Nice, I think having more sidewall to stretch the tire down should help make up for that extra 8mm. Good looking meshy wheel though.

bought a used 215/50 17 to test fit and they barely fit. took a quick spin and no rubbing may need to go with a 205/50 if i plan to lower it more, tires im thinking about are the ohtsu fp7000 which is the replacement ive heard for the falken 512 so hopefully should stretch alot more than these tires

Fitment is great! No adjustments. These photos are actually from my LX. Here are some updated ones on my Sport. No rubbing issues at all as well! Sits different on every car. So on my LX it was a little lower. The sport runs a tad bit higher same specs on the wheels tho

Finally my own car...
2018 Civic Si
Suspension: Skunk2 Springs - No alignment changes yet
Wheel Specs: ESR SR12 18x9.5 +40
Tires: 235/40-18 OEM all seasons

They looked so good on your car that I actually picked up the exact same size wheels finished in gunmetal (18x9.5+40) for my Civic EX Sedan. I haven't bought the lowering springs yet and plan to run it on stock suspension for a bit, I read that you had no rubbing or scratching issues but how are the wheels holding up? Is the quality good?

I actually wanted the gunmetal but the color was on back-order at the time for months. To be honest I am not sure you will be super happy with them at stock height... it will look sort of funny. And yes on my skunk2 springs I have ZERO rub. I am not sure what springs you would need though to get a similar ride height as the EX and Si springs are different. The wheels are holding up great, no issues at all. ESR gets a lot of hate but really they are good quality... people just hate that they make replica designs (which I understand).

I have Skunk 2 Springs, Not installed yet, Waiting to be installed on my LX. Hopefully it brings it down decently low cause LX looks like a monster truck stock.
I understand them to be more than the prokit but less than d2s even for the no Si trims... but I cant confirm as I have not really did the research.

Good to know. I will probably be getting the skunk2 springs made for the regular 10th gens soon, the stock ride height is going to be temporary. But I found a pic of them on someones car at stock height and it looks okay tbh, not as good as lowered but still an improvement over stock. Heres a pic:

Oh okay, didn't catch that. The Skunk2 springs are pretty cheap at around $200 so I went ahead and ordered them anyway along with the wheels and tires. I bought the wheels from Hardmotion and they have "free shipping" but they didn't say how long it would exactly take for it to arrive at my doorstep, but I have a feeling it will take at least a week for it to arrive.

they dropship from ESR directly. All ESR distributors do this I am pretty sure. Due to the holiday maybe it may take a bit longer... but mine didnt take long to arrive.

Not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing. I went directly onto the ESR website and they were out of the gunmetal color in the size I wanted, so I googled "ESR SR12" and I found it for sale on Hardmotion's website and it said it was in stock with the gunmetal color. Hopefully that doesn't cause any discrepancy.
