Aftermarket Seats and SRS

As Matt stated, they are bolted to the stock rail with (2) 10mm bolts if memory serves. Looking at how they were attached couldn’t quite tell how they detected weight apart from just doing that, so they may still function when attached. I have mine actually connected to the Bride rails versus just having them under the seat.

Do you by chance have pictures of how you attached the sensors to your rails? Every now and then my girlfriend,daughter, or a friend will hop in the car for a ride and it would be nice to know their airbags would deploy if we were to get into an accident. Did you use washers or some kind of a shim to level everything off?

Thanks @555sexydrive ! I can confirm that my 2017 Si sedan did in fact need a 2.2 ohms Bride SRS delete resistor. SRS light is gone.

With the Chipher bar you would have to cut the pillar plastic covers. I left mine off because my seat bolsters needed the room and I also took out my back seat since it would be unsafe to have passengers back there in the event of an accident.

is there a consensus that the 2.2 ohm resistor is necessary not 2.0 ohm? I can't find anywhere that recommends 2.2 ohm for the xgen except for the replies to @555sexydrive whose original post is no longer found. Which ohm rating did you use in the type r?

i can confirm that 2.2 ohm is the correct one. running these with recaro rsge. i ordered the resistors from evasive, lmk if you have any other questions
