Issue: Parking light fuse 9 (Engine fuse box) keeps blowing when I click the button for my fogs and fogs still does not turn on.
I bought an aftermarket fog light kit from Amazon. I was able to plug and play with the existing OEM harness. My car did not come with no fog lights. Once I installed the fog lights, I researched from others (Threads, videos, comments, etc) beforehand saying I needed to add a 20A fuse to fuse 36 Interior fuse box. College Hills Honda says fuse 36 is labeled “OPTION” However mine is crossed out assuming its accessory or blank. My option fuse is actually on Fuse 5 (Interior) not fuse 36. Note Fuse 5 says 10A and I feel not good going up fuse for that. However, I did fuse 36 first and my fuse 9 parking lights blew. I switched to fuse 5 and the same also. I'm not sure if I also added the fuse 22 “FOG” in the engine fuse box also I forgot its 15A. But I also tried removing it and adding it while the switching from fuse 5 and 36. Still the same result. Does anyone have any inputs or get a new wiring harness?
Before this install, I had it wired different (as seen on youtube) and did not know it was plug in play so got a new kit for the harness.
If it is not the fuse, then I believe it’s a bad relay, I have to remove the other fog relay (did not attempt) , I might try put the ground in a different place, or do I need to switch fuses to a higher amp?
