It's not suppose to sit perfectly flush under the bumper though.

I’ve seen others that sit flush though. I guess the afe just sits lower and sticks out further. This is the look I’m going for. I’m not sure whose car this is but he posts on here

Also found this picture from their Instagram page. Different tip than yours but I doubt that makes a difference. It sits pretty much like the stock exhaust does and that’s what I want but if it’s gonna sit low like that then I don’t wanna order it and be disappointed

You can always adjust it to sit however you want lol but it's not easy to. It would usually go in one way and you got to force it to be like the way it is in the pic. But then again I installed it on jack stands on a driveway and didn't want to take it off and make it all perfect and such. You could bring it to a shop and pay them to install it and tell them how you want it to sit.

Just an update for people considering the aFe exhaust still. After talking with their support for a bit they confirmed my thoughts on possible adjustments that can be made. You can loosen the clamps at the Y-pipe connection and adjust the muffler portion until you get to the height you want. Now my exhaust sits perfectly flush and does not look to droop down at all. Much happier with the look now.

Custom aFe Takeda Type R exhaust for my SI with muffler deletes. aFe wanted me to test this for them and it sounds way better! I still have the back piece so if I wanted to switch back I could.
