I wounder how hard it will be to get type R my dealer says expect a markup if they even get 1.

I'm pretty sure it'll be limited in quantities at first but like the VW Golf R's, the Type R's are gonna be come available as the hype slows down. I'm thinking i'll probably sway more towards the Si models as it may be more practical with a little spunk on it. We shall see!

Did you have to buy new tires to fit these wheels? I found good ad for all 4 tires for only $350.. but there's 20k miles driven with them. Do you think that'd be a problem?

Im trying to pit in these tires but i'm concerned about the distance between the calipers and the wheels. @Akirazstylin, did you put spacers between?

No, no modifications needed for the TOURING model. I'm not sure about the other models.

My civic is an LX -
first image is the passenger side
2nd image is driver

It's possible that we just did it on our own, but there are weird alignment issues with installing the SI rims. You gotta make sure that you have enough clearance between the calipers and the rims.

We didn't drive the car under these circumstance, we had to get spacers first, drove it on the freeway. No weird sounds. Will align the car within the week next week.
