I've had this car for about 2 months now and so far I have not been able to find a wheel color combo I like. I've tried a few different wheels and have NOT been happy with any of them.

I'd like to see some pictures of what others consider to be the best color wheel for this car.

Black? Gunmetal? Regular old Silver?

Show me what you got.

Here's a few pics of what I've tried so far and none of them really worked out well for me...…

Personally I think those ESR wheels look insanely clean on that shade of blue. You could also go with a gloss black wheel though, you can never go wrong with blue/black.

All these wheels look great! I'm really likeing the look of gray/graphite/gunmetal.

Just out of curiosity, why are so many of you choosing to go with 18" wheels?

Is it a weight thing? Is it the cost savings of re-using the OEM tires?

Me personally, I could never consider buying an aftermarket wheel and keeping it the oem size. I would have to go with at least a 19" wheel. Possibly even a 20".

Just curious why nearly everyone chooses not to upgrade their wheel size.
1) Sometimes the upsizing doesn't work out evenly to get as close to the original rolling diameter. Not sure if that is the case here, but you may still be off.
2) Going any thinner than 35 sidewall profile is pretty impactful on ride quality.
3) There is a big price difference, 19" summer tires can be much more than 18".

However, sometimes there is no choice because 19"s just look right. On my last car G37 18" looked too small so I had to go 19". On the Civic 18" looks just right.

I'm not sure I can agree with that. The 10th Generation Civic has very long bodystyle style. Especially the sedan.

18" wheels look rather small, especially when viewing from the side.

IMO, 19's are very much the "sweet spot" on this car. They don't look big and they don't look small. 19" wheels look "just right"

Here is another shot of the 19x8.5 wheels I had on the car. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports 235/35/19. You can google a tire size calculator, but this tire size is "nearly" a 1:1 ratio with the OE 18" tire size. And the ride quality was phenomenal.

+30 Offset

It will rub the front fender tabs if they are not rolled.

The rears have no problem

Fender tabs? you mean by the side markers?
You think if I got a +40 or +45 they wouldn't rub?

Yes, the Tabs that attach to the side markers. I'm sure with a +40 you'd be more than fine.

Keep in mind, the +30 only rubbed under extreme conditions such as a completely full car going over speed bumps, or a large dip in the road under high speeds etc

For usual daily driving, I had very little issues if any using a +30 offset wheel.

I can not agree more. I have the same size wheels and tires but with ET45 instead of ET30.
Still waiting to lower it, probably for a KW Variant 1 Coilover set.

i really don’t know that much of rims fitments still learning but i did some research and i’m just wondering if these would fit my 2018 honda civic ex-t coupe. Just want to make sure it would fit so i dont have to go through the hassle of returning them.
I have a set of avid's in the same size and they fit fine.

Those Klutch wheels are quite unique...but most of them are so damn small in diameter.

Thoughts?? Had my buddy order in a set so I can compare the blues. Staying stock at 18” in hopes to lower in the future.

Looks like it would go really well because of the blue accents. Post a pic once you throw em on.

WedsSport has two wheels that have blue accents (SA-20R and SA-54R), but much like you, I'd want to compare the colours before I'd even consider purchasing them.

I really like the fact that they have an 18x8.5 with a +50 offset and an 18x9.5 with a +45 offset so you don't have to worry about scrub radius.

Do watch out for the 18x8.5 ET50 because the stock wheels are 18x8 ET50. It's better when the wheel is wider to go for a lower offset like 18x8.5 ET45 to be sure it fits.
