Meh, there's worse mods to throw away money on. Intake makes a big difference in sound, and thus (for most) driver enjoyment, even if performance differences are questionable. Plus the stock intake looks like straight dogshit. At a minimum get a PRL Stage 1 if you care about engine bay looks.

Lets not forget PRL HVI has a slightly bigger maf housing for more room to not max out the AFMv. Thats the biggest benefit of the intake over sound.

You aren’t gonna max voltage on the stock maf until you’re over 420 wheel which is either a turbo or fuel system away. By the sound of it op will just have a basic bolt on car

It’s completely tunable. Not necessarily 420whp. Can easily happen on meth injection under that power range.

Also there is a reason why remove P0101 exist on the flashpro menu to raise the afm voltage and prevent the CEL from coming on due to hitting the max voltage on the oem maf housing of the intake . So yea even a stock fuel system and stock intake can max it.
