Adding Amp and Compact Sub help

Sorry if someone already posted about this. I tried to install an aftermarket amp to my factory head unit in my 17’ coupe ext today. I was advised by Crutchfield to get an rca converter but can’t figure out where the speakers -/+ are located. Can anyone with information pls help me.

Need a little more info on what point you're stuck at. Where do you plan to connect the RCA? Behind the radio, or the rear speaker deck area, or? Do you need a wire diagram?

I planned to do it behind the factory radio. Crutchfield gave me a wire diagram but comparing it to others Im not sure if it’s correct.

Yes, I’m scared to just start cutting wrong wires.

I don’t have the same wires in the guide.

I don’t see any other plug that resembles the guide. The guide says “without stereo amplifier “ would that be why mine is different?

Yes.

There's your problem. You have to connect to the harness after the amp, which is in the passenger side kick panel.
