Acura hasn't yet released power figures for the Type S, but promises it will be much more powerful than the outgoing 3.5-liter V6 with "a more than 50-percent increase in low-end torque." ~autoblog

Yikes! 50% more than these numbers:

Low end torque, not necessarily peak torque. To be competitive this thing needs at least 350HP, otherwise people are going to be laughing at Acura.

Well, with a twin turbo V6 I would hope that it makes at least 350 horsepower lol. I'm hoping they make it like 370-380 though, that would be a really competitive number imo.

3.5L Ecoboost twin turbo V6 makes like 700 hp after tooning lol ? . Hondata/KTuner will be all over this one.

Meanwhile, here’s a video from Dr. Ken:

Forget the TLX Type S, did you guys hear about the MDX Type S? Shares the same engine.

Now imagine a Pilot Type R LOL. Drops the 3.5L Vtec V6 for a beefier 2.0L Vtec Turbocharged 4-Cyl ?

I could see a Passport/Ridgeline "Type R" but focused more on making them more off road capable.
