AC no cold air from footwell vents

Hi guys,

1.) After 3 years and 30k miles my AC stopped cooling and there was a hissing noise from the vents on the dashboard, which sounded like this:




So I brought the car to the dealership and they found out the AC compressor relay was broken. They charged €140 / $167 and now the AC was cooling again.

2.) On the same day I saw another problem. There is no cold air coming from the footwell vents.
It doesn't matter what I have set on the climate control of the head unit:

There is only warm air coming through the footwell vents, while cold air is blowing from the dashboard vents. ?

Did anyone here ever had a similar problem?

Or do you guys have any idea what I could do?

I'm having to do a 1200 mile trip next week, and making another appointment at the dealership basically means to wait another two weeks and obviously another invoice for a just three year old car which has barely been driven.

this is typically what happens.

The only scenario i see you having A/C for that 1200 mile trip is to get a rental. Otherwise it’s windows down and a lot of sweat.
