ABS Dynamics Type-R Lip discontinued, where else can I purchase one?

Hi all,

I had my mind set on buying the ABS Dynamics Type-R style lip for my hatchback a couple months back but decided to wait on it. I just checked today and it's now discontinued.

Is there an alternative to ABS? I liked ABS Dynamics because they provide the mesh grille needed to swap out the factory sport lip and mesh

well you can still buy the carbon pattern one. not sure if you were set on the smooth plastic one.

You think the carbon looking one is paintable? I wanted the smooth one so I could paint it gloss black to match the glossy black side skirt / rear diffuser

Nah jk I know that's ridiculous. It is a damn shame though because this lip is hands down the best. Like you said it replaces lower grille, it also replaces the splash guard underneath, and you drill it all together but make absolutely no modifications to any stock parts on the car. I would imagine they will come back out with one, they sell like hotcakes

Its most likely just temporary due to covid. My carbon print lip didnt ship until 2 months after the expected date.

I bought the new ABS Dynamic carbon style type R lip. Took a few months to ship because it was a pre order, but well worth the wait. Last time I checked they were still available.

Everything bolts up clean. No extra holes to drill. It comes with a new lower grill and the lower plastic piece. The carbon is not like real carbon, but it looks close to the fake carbon of the Type R lip

yes front and side is carbon style
I was also thinking I wanted to color match but that’s expensive for me.
i also bought an ikon side skirts brand new in box never installed.

Anyone bought something from absdynamics currently? I bought the type r style spoiler. I'm wondering how long it'll take . I got it painted. So assuming it'll take 2-3 weeks?
