AAWireless Adapter finally for order / Question regarding the powered USB ports in our civics.

Hi,

so i ordered the much promised AAWireless Box on Indiegogo and quite a few people have it already.
I read that the CRV 2018 works with it, so it shouldnt be a problem for our civics aswell.

I ordered it and i will be getting it in april.

But theres question:
Are our USB ports constantly on, when something is plugged in?
i was worried, if that little box could drain our car battery, once i leave the car.

The usb ports and 12 volt outlet shut off with the car on my '18 SI. They are on in accessory mode and on position.

i have order number 19xxx. i guess i have it end of the month. they have chip shortage, so many units got delayed.

but no issues are reported for honda civics so far.

I finally got mine to work. The cable that works fine with my phone did not work when connected to AAWireless. I got another cable and it worked perfectly.

meanwhile iam already using this now for 2 weeks.
it's working great, no more plugging into a usb cable.

start-up time is actually the same like via cable. (~15-20sec when you start the car, also depends on your phone)

I ordered one in late May, deliveries have been delayed. They are releasing 2.0 due to problems getting the parts to manufacture them. I'm not sure when it'll show up.
