In NE Ohio, last night an old civic 87? pulled up next to me and revved its engine. We went for it off the line and to my surprise, it kept up with me for nearly 3 gears. I couldn't believe it. Anyone know who this is, I would like them to tune my car lol.

Everyone does an engine and trans swap. They also gut it. Easy to see 230-250whp reliable NA daily power - in a super light weight car. I’m not surprised and if you ever see one again just assume it’s ready to go.

K swap. Imagine if it was boosted. You most likely would've been gapped. Fairly easy and affordable to do nowadays.

power to weight has big advantage off the line. You reeled it in 3rd because of brute power.
