I'm also looking forward to doing a smaller meet in the fall. I'm not sure if I can make the event that will be Aug 25-28 but if Tim throws something together in September, I'll be there.

I'm new here. Looked over a little of your journey. How many miles on it. I'm debating daily mine or just driving it a little to my 8th gen dies. This is my first si. And it's so hard to keep it home. Still try to learn this site I'm a little order lol. Anyways very nice build. Hopefully yours is still kicking strong. I'm gonna take this slow. Engine wise since this a Nascar to me as of now lol. Hopefully u keep us updated. Well done Hopefully all is good.

First update in ages...

2 more trips to Tail of the Dragon with another coming up this weekend.

Classic Hondas on the Dragon!

Here's a quick highlight reel of CHD7




This spring I did Wake the Dragon again. Had fun with the folks. @icemansi was his usual unflappable self carving it up. Got to meet @Unity Performance and spend time with @Two Step Performance @HybridRacing @prl and a whole bunch of other amazing folks

Also broke my shifter cables power shifting up there. I don't recommend it

Lucky for me, a buddy rolled along with the Allen key I needed to remove my shift knob, and we were able to zip tie everything back together again

I eventually fixed the shifter cables I broke this past spring. It took a few months for me to get around to it but it's done. I used replacement cables from Hybrid Racing. Installing them requires disassembling the interior center console to access the shifter, removing the front under trays, and unbolting the front pipe from the rear exhaust. It's not difficult, but it's time consuming, and the front pipe needed a little heat

It feels even more direct than before, even with the Hybrid Racing shifter assembly. Very mechanical, very racecar

New shift knob

I also got the new Hybrid Racing shifter knob, Chicane. It's low profile, fits in the hand perfectly, and has a slick magnetic collar that holds it to the shift boot. Added bonus... no more zip ties to hold the collar on. Instead, we get a nice, reusable rubber band

Man I love those roads… 28 will always be my favorite. Can’t wait for this spring! Bummed I can’t make it this weekend
