70% factory tint + aftermarket tint

Where did you buy the window visors and how much?

Got them from the dealership, it was about $250 for the window visors installed, the roof visor was about $190.

i just looked at my windows and it say 70%... fack i just got 35% tint on top of that

Sorry to revive such an old thread, I'm trying to figure out if my car has factory tints or not. My window stamps look different from this. I can post pic tomorrow. I don't think my car is tinted at all tho

Is the factory tint an actual film on the glass? I just got a '19 and couldn't find a dealer anywhere that didn't already tint the windows on the cars and add $500 to the sticker for it. I am not a fan of tint and am wondering if I have it removed will it take the factory tint off too.

No the tint they used goes on just the inside of the window can be removed easily by a professional. The other film is sandwhiched inbetween 2 paynes of glass. Its not really a tint, plastic without definite clarity.

Pretty sure yours does not have factory tint, as it doesn't have the 'Transp.' marking.

Do only some trims get the factory 70%? I had no idea my 2019 Si had it until I checked my window markings the other day.

To be honest, I'm not sure of whether it is specific to certain trims or where it was built.

Interesting... and you would think they would advertise it more for the trims/locations that do get it, as this seems like a non-trivial factory feature, but I don't think I even saw it on my window-sticker.
Now that I'm thinking about it, could it be that ones made in Canada received the tint, while U.S.-manufactured Civics did not?

Mine was apparently built in the UK and doesn't have any factory tint. I'm not disappointed though, I prefer the fishbowl

Has anyone done Ziebart NPC tint deciding between that and suntek/llumar. Personally never even heard of them before very recently and found out there national. Not sure if I want to "try it" on my hatchback

2019 Si 15% over the 70% factory windows that come on the car. 5% eyebrow on top of the windshield that goes almost 1/2 down from the top.

I don't know how some of you see out of the car during the day with tint so dark, much less night time. I've driven cars with tint so dark on every window, that I could barely see out of it at noon during an Arizona summer.
