Don't want to have this tread going in an other direction, but is your tranny's hard to put in reverse (yes, I make a complete stop before reversing..lol)?

I shift mine anywhere between 3k - 4k RPM in normal driving. That's so the revs don't drop below ~2200 RPM and catch me at low power. I didn't rev above 3k RPM until I had 1000 miles on the odometer. I've yet to push mine to redline but I'm definitely having more fun now that it's broken in.

Important to note that the recommended shift points are lower on the 1.5t over the 2.0 engine.

I've reliazed that but sometimes if i decide I'm gunna back in to a spot I put my clutch in still going 3-5 mph and pull it into reverse and the car just didn't seem to like it.. so i hope that's not too bad, I'll go to a dead stop from now on

It's hard to be aggressive shifting, with the rev hang. If I shift too soon, I have to ride the clutch longer, which I hate doing. Like others, I plan to get a tune to remedy this. Hopefully soon!

Fuel economy is nice to have. I shift out of each gear around 2000rpms which enters the next gear at 1500rpms. Wind up in 6th gear around 40-45mph. Obviosuly downshift and punch it when I need/want to go faster. Driving like this I average between 36-42mpg for an entire tank of fuel. 2017 SI Sedan 93 octane
I'm going to try this in my 18 si sedan bc your MPG is niceeeee

It has been getting even better as I grow more experienced with driving it. NJ traffic is a factor I have to work around but I am now realizing that 450-520 miles per tank is achievable.
