So I'm driving normal, get to my destination, and I go to turn off my car.
I turn my key to off, engine turns off. The sound seems dragged out, like it takes an extra second for the engine to come to a full stop after I take the key out. Definitely long enough for me to notice, and there's also a shutter I can feel at the very end.

Anyone experience this, is this normal?

Is there anything that won't fit into this car?

Certainly doesn't sound normal. Has it happened since then?

Yes, I would say it happens very often... if not every time

Sounds like dieseling
Searched youtube, only a few videos showing examples of it, and they're either older vehicles and/or using carburetor. Thanks for the input guys, strictly from those videos I saw, mine isn't that extreme
