Quick introduction, I'm not new to Honda, have had more than a handful over the years. My first being a 110ATC when I was 8yo. Though my next was not until I left the US back in August of '93 and went to Japan (Okinawa) and I picked up a used '88 Civic Si (EF3). Then picked up a '97 Civic SiR (EK4), junked the EF3 and picked up a '89 Civic SiR (EF9). Junked the EF9 and picked up a '94 Civic Ferio SiR (EG9). Sold the EG9 to a friend and he took it to Germany and picked up a brand new '03 Integra R (DC5). Sold the EK4 to a friend, who later sold it to another friend and that ended up in Germany as well. Then moved to Guam in late January '08, sold the 5R to a friend who had it just a little over 2 months and was in quite a bad accident and it was totaled. In Guam picked up a new '07 Snisen (AP2). Left Guam in mid-October '08 sold the AP2 and moved to mainland Japan and ordered a new '10 Fit RS (GE8). Built that thing up to what was essentially a race-prepped Fit used as my daily (little easier in Japan to get away with, except for inspections every 2 years). In '17 picked up a new '17 Vezel RS Hybrid (RU3) to use as a daily versus the Fit as I de-registered it so no longer able to drive it on the roads.

Anyways, after a LOOOOOONGGGG 26 years and some change away from the US, flew into Atlanta on the 14th of November '19, then flew down to Jacksonville, FL on the 16th and drove back that evening with a '20 Civic Si (FC3) and will be doing things to it as I can.

To this day, the most fun Honda I have owned, it would have to be the 5R Integra. It was another one that probably should not have been daily driven and most probably would have chosen not to, it was stripped for the most part interior wise as just a 2 seater (same as the GE8) had a non-resonated with no muffler Amuse R1 titanium exhaust paired with a Toda exmani, Toda suspension, GruppeM carbon intake chamber, K-Pro and just many other things. It was a complete blast to drive it properly, though no circuits in Okinawa, I participated in gymkhana events with it and was always going north of the island where no traffic was and hitting up the many winding roads.

The GE8 was my #slowbeast. It too was a very fun drive, especially on circuit, wasn’t fast, gearing limited it to just 201km/h (124mph), but in the turns it was smile inducing, especially being up in much faster car’s ass bullying them until a straight and they would walk away.

I chose the Si coupe over the R, mostly because body wise, it reminds me of the 5R Teggy somewhat and wheels are much easier to get in 5x114.3 versus 5x120 and really, I just don't care for the way the hatch looks honestly. I think Honda really missed the mark and should have offered the R in the coupe body as well, at least to my eyes the coupe looks the best for the 10th gen Civics. Granted the Si will never be the R, but it can be made to be an even better little brother than how it came.

On another note, the name (moniker) 555sexydrive came about for me, while at an event in Okinawa, in the pits a guy came up to me and said, "your driving was just too sexy" and he couldn't believe the Integra was actually FF versus a FR chassis. Anyways while at a night gathering a local magazine (no longer in existence, 919 (Quick)) asked me for a little saying to post with the picture they took and I gave them: Go Go Go sexy drive. 5 is pronounced go in Japanese. Ever since I have ran with it.
