What are the 5 things you would change/hate from the fk8 and wished that tuners would fix?

1. Winged spoiler ( is it just me or are the pointed wings hideous?)

2. 3 tipped exhaust (thanks js, HKS, spoon)

3. Fake rear and front vents (please can anybody fix this soon enough)

4. Red under trim (too much for me)

5. Middle rear seats (cmon, how convenient would it be to have 5 freakin seats)

3. If they were "real" they would not be cooling anything and would hinder aerodynamics.

5. The car is only rated for 650lbs total passenger and cargo weight combined. I don't know about you, but I can't imagine fitting 5 people in this car and staying under that limit.

Maybe if they could’ve made the vents flat rather than with the mesh like look.

Also just wanted the middle seat for maybe a baby seat would be great

I'll just add a sunroof.

If you take off the wing, the three tips, the red pin stripes and the rear seats, you'll just have a Sport Hatchback.

Each to their own . Some people like the look some people dont. I prefer a toned down look. Just improve on the look, make it less busy. Ive seen a lot of people delete the trim most notably honda pro jason. Really really not digging the 3 exhaust.

Maybe a simplified aftermarket wing?

1. It's just you. The wing looks awesome and it's 100% functional.
2. Looks much better than the USB port on the back of the SI Coupe
3. Why not just cut away the whole front fascia, get some real cooling going? There are other concerns, such as aerodynamics, at play.
4. Looks bad in some colors, great in most colors.
5. Fifth person can walk. I have a car, I don't care.

Here's what I would change - all minor quibbles.

1. Volume knob - when I need to talk to someone suddenly such as pulling up to a drive through, I'm used to quickly turning the knob and silencing the radio or podcast or whatever I'm listening to. I'm having to re-learn a deeply ingrained motion and I don't like it.
2. Completely separate climate controls and readout. So stupid to go through infotainment for this.
3. 19 or 18 inch wheels stock - quality rubber is cheaper to run
4. Option to black out interior
5. Titanium shift knob with titanium mesh shift boot. Need to cut weight!

1. Improve the paint and body thickness. Paint is too thin and generally not that great imho. Body panels are the thinnest in all the Honda’s I’ve owned.
2. Improve the engine cooling substantially. Stock setup while ok could be improved more
3. Do more with the fake grills. Ie improve cooling.
4. Give buyers the OPTION to add on the GT package features that include Honda sensing, parking sensors and other features typically found in continental Europe CTRs.
5. Give consumers the factory option to get different sized wheels. While I love the look of the 20” tires that really 18” would’ve made way sense for tire selection + less potential to damage rims.

If I were allowed to choose a 6th thing to gripe about is the build quality of the interior. Too many buzzes and rattles and although I get that this car isn’t a $60k car that this is 2018 and i’ve Seen lesser priced cars be more rattle free than the 10th gen. I find this thing rattles more than my CRX Si. I am probably being overly critical of the car but c’mon Honda this is 2018... nonetheless I love my car and wouldn’t trade it for any other hot hatch. It is still the best hatch in its class :)

1. i love the wing. Some people do hate it though and I can understand why.
2. I like the triple exhaust. A dual makes it look like a sport touring exhaust.
3. I do agree but the front vents don't bother me as much as it does to some people. The rears however .... lol
4. They're just vinyl tape and can easily be removed if its too much for you.
5. Type R's never had a middle seat which is why we just have a cup holder in the middle.

Me personally:
1. Louder exhaust note. Pops and crackles like the Focus RS, M series, etc.
2. Vent instead of a scoop where the turbo is like the Evo 9 hoods.
3. Having an oil gauge like the FK2s
4. non sliding calipers in the rear.

Pin stripes can be peeled off. The wing and three tips gives the Type R character, aside from being functional.

Again, if you want a simplified version, I suggest you look at a Sport Hatch.

I have already deleted the trim and bought a spoon exhaust to tone it down

If you don’t like said features, maybe you should buy a different car? I keep hearing that Subaru holds value well. :)

Customizable driving modes would be cool
Volume knob would be welcome but I honestly don't miss it that much
Climate control all physical, not in the Infotainment
Faster/smoother Infotainment, but I'll bend on that since it can be rooted and do so much more than my wife's 18 Ody infotainment
Should have come with 19s stock, and not rubber band tires

#1 I've "fixed" with KTuner, but that's just power by mode, not throttle/steering
#3 I just set the temp up or down if I feel the climate control needs adjustment. Also this can be remedied for $50 and 10 minutes of time if one doesn't need dual zone
#5 was corrected 20 miles after purchase, for me

That seems like a pretty low weight limit. Is that number based on maintaining optimal performance, body rigidity limitations, excessive strain on drivetrain, springs not being stiff enough, achieving their claimed fuel mileage, or is it literally a safety issue? Some regions have 5 seats I believe.

1. Massively ramped-up spring and damper rates.
2. Lowered half an inch.
3. 350hp.
4. Increase redline to 8k.
5. Larger gas tank (~350 mile range).
6. 18 or 19 inch wheels.
7. All of the EDM options and features included.
8. 3 rear seats.
9. Volume knob.
10. High quality Gorilla glass for the infotainment interface.
11. LEDs all around, including side mirrors.
12. "HONDA" instead of the brembo branding on the calipers.

#3 and 4 the least likely as they would need to rework the engine. I'm assuming #12 would need to pay brembo additional licensing fees so not likely either.
