4500K HID on low beam clear white

just replaced low beams with DDM 4500K 55w clear crystal white. I'm satisfied with color that matches with DRL leds. Let me know how others think about it.

I am, depending on the price. The HID kits looks awesome but I dont want to have to find a place for the ballast

In particular I'm worried about the copper loops contacting something. Also, some of the reviews looked iffy.

What website is that? This might be a stupid question, but do you need the hid kit? Or can you just purchase the bulbs?

Did you use a separate plug and play harness? Or did you just plug the 55w ballasts into your OEM wiring harness?

Looks great btw! 4500k is crystal white, did you think of going 5k for a slight blue tint?

Also it's H11 right? Where did ya mount your ballasts?

Directly to OEM wirings, blue hint won't look good coz' of DRL, yes its H11.

Mounted side wise between two plastic housings on driver's side and the second one in passenger's side empty place above the fender. Couldn't think better than that. Let me know how others managed to deal with that part of installation. I'm still observing every day after I drive to find out if the ballasts moves or how warm they get. Because of winter I never found them hot or warm. I drive about 30-40 minutes and turn my low beam on to find out how much warm they get.
