I have confirmed a set of wheel and the offset is either +37 and +44. +37 will rub abit on the fender tab but is dead flush. +44 will not rub but will short of 4mm to get flush.

If I pull the strut guide pin, it gives max. 1.0mm~1.5mm and yet not sure it will totally avoid the rubbing on offset +37.

Or I go with offset +44 and add 4mm spacer to get flush.

This is for 2017 Hatchback (non si).

What is your opinion?

+44 and add a 5mm spacer later if you're not happy with how it is.

Thanks for the reply. I am lowered with pro kit. The width is 8.5 and I am getting 235/40R18 PS5. I know the shoulder of the tyre play a part, if all possible, I avoid any spacer - KISS (Keep It Simple Simon).

You can run 18x8.5 +37 on 235/40 tires without any additional camber and you'll be totally fine!

I run 18x8.5 +38 with no rub and that's without even doing the fender tab.

Thanks for your reply. Mine is 2017 Hatchback. I know 2019 and above does not has any tab issue. Can you help to share some photos how close to the fender? TIA

Yeah, I have a 2017. I thought I'd have to do the tab, but have not had an issue. I don't have any images handy, but could pull some later.

Thanks. Are you on pro kit same as mine too? If yes, this give me a lot more assurance.

Swift Springs. I think that is pretty similar drop to Prokit. Good point though. That could make a difference. The Swift are also higher spring rate/stiffer I think.

I have 18 x 8.5 ET34 (235/40/18) and this rubs on the tab on stock height (Not yet lowered)If the center part of the rim has enough material you could always get it turned off a few mm .That's what i may (or may not ) do after its lowered . Turn down 4mm on a lathe and get ET38.

Thanks for your reply. Good thought but am concern about the integrity of the wheels and not sure if the lug nuts allow additional 4mm thread.
