In no particular order:

1. Driving behind gravel trucks. These guys seem to find me especially on highways.

2. Water puddles. Doesn't matter the size. Especially after I spend 4 hours detailing the Civic and there they are like land mines.

3. Pot holes. As much as I try to avoid them, they are everywhere in my neck of the woods. And even though I have the stock '17 wheels, the feeling, the sound just makes my teeth rattle when I can't avoid those damn things.

What's your 3 peeves? Plus add show ride...

Your #1 is right up there for me too. I live in an area with a number of rock quarries, so those trucks are everywhere. Seems like every time I'm stuck behind one, they spew stones right at my poor Cosmic Blue sedan.

As far as potholes, I agree and the roads in my area are littered with them. It's the main reason I'm hesitating to buy 18's and low profile tires.

What I really hate is being stuck behind someone doing 10mph under the posted speed. Or stuck behind someone who is constantly braking at every street corner looking for an address or something.

Here's a pic of my Civic:

1. Being stuck behind someone going 5-10 mph under the speed limit...on the left lane

2. Having a super aggressive driver who's weaving in and out of lanes and tries to overtake me for no good reason

3. People who tailgate

As for potholes and stuff, they didn't use to be that bad but now they becoming more and more common because of what the winter salt did to our roads. Believe it or not, there's a road near my house with a massive pot hole and we were driving down it in my friends car when his drivers side tire stuck the pot hole and it gave it a puncture, luckily we were close to home though. But my county is pretty good about stuff like potholes so i'm sure it'll be addressed soon.
Also, pic of my Civic after a quick wash:

1. People who drive dangerously in heavy traffic. If you wanted to get there on time, you should have left a little earlier. Driving like an idiot isn't going to make up the fifteen minutes you spent sitting on the edge of your bed blinking furiously at your cell phone. You're just increasing the odds of smacking into someone or something and making EVERYONE late. And lady, your rear-view mirror is for seeing things behind you, not examining your pores in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

2. Android AutoPlay glitches. Dude, I'm driving, I don't have the time or attention span to reconnect the phone and restart Spotify. *flips it over to the radio, to be greeted by a solid hour of insipid, idiotic commercials for Viagra and people who claim to be able to sell houses better*

Ehh, really that's it. Nothing else rises to the level of "hate" (I doubt these do, honestly, they're just peeves)

Edit: Pic of the Si :)

1. Ppl on their phones while driving.. I saw a guy the other day streaming basketball at a stoplight.... WHAT?!?!

2. The stones coming off trucks... yea, my windshield crack is a victim. It’s not growing so not fixing, because with my luck it’ll get hit again right after the repair.

3. Potholes for sure. My moms tire blew up from hitting a huge one hidden by rain... she was a avoiding a huge water puddle at night and inadvertently hit the crater.

1. Not signaling changing lanes. People wring their hands about safety features in cars-how about that little stick on the steering column? Give it a try. Otherwise, it's just me hoping you don't decide to ram me while driving.
2. Driving in someone's blind-spot. An experienced driver knows not to do this. If you do this, get ready for the consequences.
3. Puttering along in the passing lane, or that matter, the middle lane. The passing lane is for passing, if you can't do that , please leave! If you have slow drivers in the right lane, and trailer trucks and other slow drivers in the middle lane, you have turned a 3 lane highway into a 1 lane road.
Gee, where does traffic come from? I can't imagine...

Oh boy, where do I start?
1) 8AM traffic where ladies are doing makeup, texting, and driving. No joke where I'm from.
2) Fluggin tail-gators. They purposefully creep behind you at a stop light with their taillights higher than my car.
3) Getting cut off. Urrrrgh. Out of all, that pisses me off the most. Like STAY IN YOUR DAM SLOW GRANNY LANE.
:drive:

People who suck at driving is my number 1 peeve and they're everywhere here in California Ive seen some really dumb shit.

People who drive under the speed limit in perfect weather, can't merge, riding the brakes, weaving in traffic, stopping on the freeway, using their phones, insanity:crazy:

Less peevy animals in the road, potholes, construction that never seems to progress or end, homeless people in the road (50 points!)

Unless they are very aggresive, I treat other drivers like trees, deer, rocks or other obstacles. I try to predict them, avoid them or go around them.

Some people apparently don't know that passing on a one lane road (each way) is legal. They would pile up tightly behind a slow vehicle at 30 mph in a 45 mph zone, keep impatiently tailgating and working the brakes but never dare to pass even on long straight stretches with no traffic. Then some people are afraid passing two cars at a time is illegal.

Btw. This thread reminds me that I haven't washed my car probably since late summer and waxed for the last year's Dragon's Tail meet. I haven't driven on snow or salt and she still looks clean to me, but I'm somewhat ashamed of my laziness. There was rain at the right times to rinse it, and I may have rinsed it once or twice with a hose. The water still beads very strongly, but she's a bit dusty.

1) careless motorcyclists - i respect their choices if they have a death wish, but keep me and my cars out if it. I had an experience (not in the current Civic) where one guy was purposely blocking me, and when I passed him, he even tried to give chase. unfortunately, when I got into a traffic light, he (i dunno where he picked it) threw a stone at the back of my car. This is what made me start making sure I have a dash cam and a tactical bat (flashlight/bat) in the car).

Some of them squeeze so near, it only takes a small miscalculation to hit the car's side.

2) people who are so careful, they would not take the turn or exit if there is a car 50 feet away (and blocking the road for the rest of us). I seriously encountered this - was stuck behind the guy for effing 30 minutes trying to exit a parking area.

3) drivers driving side by side slowly and blocking the expressway for the rest of us. and after flashing one of them for quite some time, he gave way and there is no other cars in front of them (iirc it was a good kilometer after them before I saw another tail light.

will post car pic when I get home.

I drove on Long Island for many years and drove delivery trucks into Manhattan and jersey. It nothing but traffic traffic and traffic and if anyone on this forum lives on Long Island they know that the green belt parkway and the expressway is a parking lot and other major roads on Long Island. Now I live in south west Florida way less traffic but they don’t know how to drive no signaling, do the lowest speed in the left lane and forget about a traffic circle they get real stupid. What really get me is garage/yard sale sign they are a stop sign to the snow birds down here as soon as they see them they slam on the brakes not realizing they causing a traffic jam behind them

This thread reminds me of what we all believe when we are behind the wheel.

“No one is as good as a driver as me.”

Of course the distressing thing is when you realize the idiot in the other car is thinking the same thing.

1. People that go under the speed limit for no reason whatsoever

2. Diesel lifted trucks that belch black smoke from their stupid bed mounted exhaust pipes

3. Anyone that can’t be bothered to use a turn signal, especially when they slam on the brakes and make a surprise turn

4. Pennsylvania potholes that take up almost an entire lane.
