I know that you had mentioned that this turbo is capable of matching the base turbo option from PRL. To confirm, would that be attainable with 93 octane, or would one need to use an ethanol blend?

They show making almost as much power with ethanol as the base PRL turbo with a small housing. If 27WON used the PRL Cobra intake they probably would be nearly on par with that power. The 27WON turbo is doing that with much faster spool rate and much wider power curve. There is an issue with 93 octane power in the charts that they posted. I think that if they are comparable with ethanol then they must also be comparable with 93 octane, in spite of the charts they show. That Ktuner fixed a fueling problem and having the Cobra on the PRL may account for a lot of that discrepancy. Just guessing here. If I am full of shit then somebody of knowledge and experience please correct.

I think I'll do this eventually over the PRL. Easier on the budget, and you can buy it piecemeal as your budget allows. Plus I was leaning towards the 27WON exhaust, so it just makes more sense (even tho I have a Cobra CAI).

I agree, when the pockets allow, the turbo is a great option, but i’m Super excited for the exhaust for the SI’s. The current 27won exhaust has such a great tone for the hatchbacks that I want it for the SI

I agree with this, I just wish that there was an option to keep the factory exhaust tip. Really like it.
